Default Air Bag Light (95 Camry)

I recently pulled the fusefor the SRS Air bag system (I needed to borrow it for blownturn signalfuse). After I replaced the air bag fuse, thewarning light, telling me the air bag isn't working, came on and won't go off. Itried disconecting the battery, putting innew fuse, but the light is still on. Does anyone knowwhat might have caused this and how it can be fixed? I can't imagine that simply removing a fuse and then putting it back in could cause the air bag system to malfunction. I'm guessing its just a glitch in the warning light, but I wouldreally like to know if the air bags are functional.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Pulling the fuse resulted in a voltage drop to the airbag system and a warning light. What engine does this car have, look to see if there is a ODBII compliant sticker on the hood.

It has a 2.2 liter engine and it is ODBII compliant.
