Hey I wanted to change the color of my bulbs behind the temp controls from green to red and when I unscrewed the control box and right before I could take it out, the box wouldn't let me bring it out far enough to where I could get to the bulbs because there are wires behind there? How did you get by all this? can the wires be unplugged?

i was going to fix a bulb that would go off and on in the hvac area you speak of but like you, i couldnt pull it out enough. But if you yank a little harder it does come out more and you can see in the back how to get off the cables. You do need to take the radio out for sure.
