2003 toyota camry

someone ran into it and knocked off the drivers side mirror

I understand there is heated mirror and non-heated mirror and I need to be cognizant of that when purchasing a new mirror

But what I don't get is why there are 3 wires coming out of the car, but 4 wires going into the mirror.

my curiosity got the best of me and I took off that electrical tape, and it looks like the black wire splits into 2

I dont know how to buy the right mirror because they are all either 3 to 3 or 5 to 5, there is no 3 to 4 mirror

 

Are you sure the mirror is the original one?

This wiring is not factory . It appears someone modified it.

How many original factory wires come out of the chassis harness what colors are they?
