Yea, my guess would be loose wiring, I didnt find any fuse specifically for the reverse lights (maybe near trunk? no manual) but the fuse for the brake and tails were fine. Is this a known issue with a 94?

 

if the bulbs are ok. you mit have a broken wire. open your trunk, the wire harness that runs next to the trunk hinge on the drives side. notice when you open and close the trunk lid the wireharness flexes. thats usually where the problem is. but before you start cutting open the wireharness, see if you have power going to the bulb socket (sorry, getting ahead of myself).

 

well they definitely have power going to the sockets, and I think you're pretty much right. Every one in a while they do work and they have been lately. So long as they work when it gets inspected. Now the only problem: holey cat converter...
