Mine is still there even after replacing the plug, and running a new wire all the way to the fuse (cannot recall which one atm. AM2?)

Out of ideas. Anybody else?

I got lost among the posts ----have both been resolved

got the EFI fuse

the battery drain may well be the ignition base wires themselves in the ign assembly
you tried everywhere else .

I don't recall saying anything about battery drain.

I have a new alternator, new battery, and have replaced the cable. I still have a charge fault light despite everything being in range. It charges and works normally. Only the light stays on.

I think it is now beyond the scope of this forum and will need an auto electrician to look.
