Default Problem with Left Indicator

Hi,
My left indicator is blinking very fast. The bubls are still good, so it is not due to bulb fuse problem. It is unique too... While the head lights are off or only the daytime lights are on, the indicator is fine. When the head lights come on (during the night), the left indicator starts blinking faster. When I press the Emergency lights (all four indicators blinking), the blinking rate is fine again. Please help. And can some one tell me how to change the indicator bulbs on the 99 camry???

Thanks

do me a favor, keep the left blinker on whiles its going fast, and go to the front left turnsignal and hit it with your hands a few times to see if it slows down to regular pace. vary your force you hit it with.

the left signal is an issue with a lot of camry's from 97-99, i believe it was a sensor that we got changed to resolve the issue.
