Transponder Issue- URGENT HELP NEEDED
Recently I had to replace the ignition lock cylinder (with transponder keys) on my 2000 camry. Upon putting the new ignition lock in and turning the key, I found that the engine would crank but would not start. I believe this is because the new transponder keys are not programmed into the ECU, so the immobilizer will not disengage.
I have found several tutorials on programming a new key, but they all require the use of the old master key and the original ignition lock- my old key does not work with my new ignition lock.
The new ignition lock (for a 2000 camry) came with a new master transponder key, how do I set this up so that my car can start?

Could the locksmith set up the key to work as a master key with the ECU?
