Default Where are all my fuse boxes located?

Hi, new here, first post.

I bought this '94 Camry a few months ago from a private owner. It just turned over 200,000 miles, yikes!

It did not come with an owner's manual (know where I can find one to purchase)?

the light in my trunk won't work. Bought another bulb, still won't work. Had the bulb checked. It's getting juice to it. Used the meter to test the little plug hanging down inside the trunk, nope, it's not getting anything. I am not about to pay to trace the problem, but I thought I would start out with the most simple thing first, fuses.

there are two boxes in the engine compartment, one is all Relays I believe. Is there not yet another one like inside of a kick panel? I looked under the carpet in there but can't find one.

If it is in the engine compartment, can you give me a diagram and point to where that fuse is located?

In the alternative, I guess I can put in one of those battery operated push type dome lights and stick it in there so I can see. It will be getting dark at 5pm here soon when we turn our clocks back and if I have groceries, I won't be able to see. And I don't like to put several bags into the back seat when I have a 2-door.

Thanks!

P.S. I'm only getting 18 mpg. Is that about right for a V-6?

Does the dome light work, if so the fuse for the trunk light is OK. Dome fuse.

The bulb socket should always have power on one terminal. The other runs to the trunk switch. When the trunk is open, the switch is closed and the wire is grounded completing the circuit.

If the socket has DC power, the issue the bulb, socket corrosion, etc, trunk switch, wiring from the bulb to the switch, switch to ground.

Wire color running to switch may be Red/White or the same color as the power wire. Ground wire from switch is Black/White.

Switch is located below the lock portion mounted on the chassis.

Kick panels are the plastic covers on the side of the car chassis below the instrument panel, both left and right side have fuses behind them.

A fuse box is behind the drivers side ash tray. Open the tray lid to see fuses behind it.

If a combined MPG of 18 this is on the low side. Should be around 23 MPG overall if not having a heavy foot.

Try Ebay and the internet for manuals. There are also a few sites that have among other things PDF downloads for manuals user uploads.

Thank you Joey! That is about the most thorough response I have received on any forum. I appreciate your time and efforts to address every question I had.

I will run this by a friend and see if we can isolate the problem. If it's too much trouble or expensive, I will use a portable push button light one can find in most automotive stores.

Thanks again, I'm glad I found this place

This was the problem. My housemate went out there, and all he did was push on that little button inside there and the light flickered. He sprayed some WD-40 in there (don't know if that was a good idea) but now the light stays on. Yay!

I will get a manual from E-bay. I saw one for $5.00 plus s/h.

Went grocery shopping today and could see all my bags in the trunk. Such little things please me

thanks! This is solved. I don't know if there is a place here to say solved, so we can end this thread.
