keep in mind a camry is heavier than a corolla so it might not "go off" as much as for if it will fit it might with the right amount of cash but wouldnt kno
nice, i like the corolla(ae86). im sure that you mean 4age. making it fit might take alot of work, and the extra size of the car will hurt you. i have an 88 camry with a v6. the engine has plenty of power, but the at tranny has old lady gear ratios. if you put a 1vz v6 with a manual trans, the car would be plenty fast.(iv seen this motor on ebay for around $500 without too many miles) you may need to do custom mounts becuase yours is an 87, not sure. you can also find a mass air flow sensor adaptor on ebay(for the v6) that will let you put a larger cone filter, this makes for more power and the engine will sound better(like ten bucks/shipping, and filter costs $25)
look for a lexus es 250 of the same year, it is the high model of the camry(looks almost the same)
i have driven an older camry(maybe an 85-86) years ago. it was a 4-cylinder with a manual trans, and it was quick! i loved to drive that car.
