194xxx and a rod went out. So I think so. It sounds like a marble tossed around in a tin can and the car won't go more then 35mph. Doesn't everheat either. It struggles up hills. Any1 know how much an engine swap is? How many hours? Thanks

If you know what your are doing maybe 7-9 hours. Otherwise plan a weekend.

Used engines maybe $600-1K, third party rebuilts $1500-2K.
