Hi guys , i have a 97 Camry with a blown V6 engine(rod through block).Was wondering if i could put a 4 cylinder in it to save on fuel.If so what else do i have to change besides the engine? Thanks

 

Most likely need to change the trans, axles and computer.

 

you would have to change a good amount of things. the first obvious thing that will need to be changed is the engine mounts...
its not worth the change, you're better off driving with lower mpg. or replacing the car with a corolla. the new one is basically the size of our gen 4.

This is pretty intresting cos the same thing happend to my v6. haha
