anyone had their block rebuilt??

Default anyone had their block rebuilt??

getting a shortblock from junk yard, if bore look good and is within specs do I just buy oversized rings and hone cyl or have cyl bored to oversized pistons?
should I get new rod bolts?
should I have crank turned or just put new bearing in if crank ok?

if the bore looks good i usually just replace the piston ring and hone the cylinder, also replace all crank and connecting rod bearings..if its junk you will have to send it to the machine shop and recommned having them build it for you...why don't you just get a rebuilt short block from the get go and have all the hassel?
