Default Blown engine

Just got given a really clean 93 Camry with a seized engine. Going to junk yard to pull a replacement engine. How late of a long block will interchange with this engine. I know Toyota built this engine from the 80's into the 2000's. Will a 2001 block with the head interchange with it?

Should be OK.

Around 94 Toyota changed the balance shaft gear tooth count. Cranks after 94 may not much the shaft gearing.

The 2001 engine head mating surfaces were finished for a metal laminated head gasket.

2001 block had a front cover plate allowing a crank sensor.
