Check engine light (CIL) comes on frequently on 2009 Camry LE 2.4 liter, but engine runs fine (although there is a frequent hesitation on acceleration from dead stop). The original MAF sensor was cleaned several times, but CIL came on intermittently. Bought a new OEM MAF sensor from Toyota dealer, problem continues. Tried swapping MAF sensor from my other Camry (2016 LE 2.5 liter), the problem still occurs with this car but not the other car, so I know the problem is not the MAF sensor itself. Replaced plug to MAF sensor, problem continues. I have repeatedly smoke tested for vacuum leaks, there are none. This problem has been bugging me for 2-years.
