Default GGP EGR Delete, now what?

So I recently started tinkering with my 2.5L Camry. Intake, Exhaust, Tune, TB Spacer, MAF upgrade, Shift Power Throttle box, and finally an EGR Delete kit from GGP. I noticed they have a link to AMT tuning to address the check engine code and to tune for lack of hot air recirculating. Shopping around I discovered D3 Performance and they have a great reputation. I asked their techs about the EGR valve and they insist that their tune closes it permanently, an extra charge to do this on AMT along with other essentials I expect to use eventually. Well now I have the EGR delete installed and I am getting P 400- P401. Not sure why the codes are getting thrown now other than the temp sensor is on the backside of the inlet and it's not getting warm enough. The goal is to cool things down! Has anyone devised a defeat for this without AMT charging an arm and a leg to retune the car?. I am driving 2020 Camry 2.5 and have D3 Performance Pro Tuning Software but all I've been able to do is flash canned tunes and log with it. Can't find any instruction on building tunes from scratch except HPA. So far I have learned a bunch from their free lessons. I highly recommend them. From what I can tell, I need to adjust the EGR temp sensor to reflect heat that isn't there, or lower the target temp to the new cooler environment.

To fix the P0400 and P0401 codes, you need to ensure the EGR system is fully disabled in the ECU tune. Since you're using D3 Performance Pro Tuning Software, double-check that the EGR logic is properly deleted in your current tune. If the canned tunes aren’t addressing the EGR codes, you may need a custom tune to fully disable EGR monitoring, including temperature and flow sensors. After installing the EGR delete kit, you’ll want to make sure the ECU is tuned accordingly. Alternatively, you can try simulating the EGR temp sensor using resistors, but the cleanest solution is a proper tune that removes the diagnostic checks.

Default Do you know if it can be done?

I have contacted D3 about a custom tune, I can’t get any answers on exactly how to interact with the canned tunes. Ideally, I would take my current software settings and tweak from there. The valve is closed in the tune so I’m having trouble understanding which sensor is not heating up or fully pressurizing ow that the tube has been removed- 1/2 delete kit - I have the $ for a credit to build a custom tune but the pro tuner has zero instructions. I’ve taken a few free courses from HP academy and I know now what I would do if I understood the interface. D3 response was “ you don’t need EGR delete, the valve is already closed.” I have to assume the fuel and air are already adjusted accordingly, but I like the idea of keeping heat away from the TB as well as how the kit looks installed. I can’t justify spending another $1000 on a tune just for this mod. The check engine light occupies my center cluster so no info is viewable unless I keep pressing return.
