Default JDM Engine and Tranny Swap V-6

I pulled the v-6 and tranny out of my daughters car and I bought a JDM eng and tranny to put in it. I discovered the electrical plug in on the tranny's are different. Has anyone done this swap and have info on how to wire it. Worst case is to use the old tranny, but would like to keep the JDM parts together on this swap. Any advice? Reising62

What year of car?

Are the trans the same model? If so run down and compare each wire of both trans.

There would be wires for the shift solenoids and shift indicator switch behind the shift lever.

Someone else ran into this problem at either this site or Toyotanation. Suggest a post review.
