Default Rat got into engine

A rat or mouse got into my engine and chewed one of my wires. Can someone help me identify the wire and also any maintenance suggestions would be helpful such as a youtube video. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Post photos at the Toyotanation.com website in the appropriate model and generation of Camry. Someone will have the same year car.

The dash warning information may not have anything to do with the damaged wiring. Toyota can set codes based on some indirect relationship to things such as turning off the traction control when the engine has a misfire code.

If you can, repair the wiring. Typically, once fixed, the dash warning goes away. The now bare wires may be touching each other. Use tape or an insulating epoxy glue.

The wiring insulation may still be formulated from soybeans that vermin love to eat. If so, expect more damage.
