Default What is this part that is leaking in my 2005 Camry?

I noticed some brownish stains in my driveway where I normally park. I checked underneath the car and saw a cylinder near my ATF in/out lines that the leaks were coming from. I am not sure what this part is or what exactly it is that is leaking. Does anyone know what this is?

Suggest comparing the leaking oil with engine, trans and power steering fluid (if the car still has hydraulic power steering and not electric). Smell the fluid as this can also be an indicator.

Toyota may have used hydraulic engine mounts which contain fluid. This mount is the black rubber covered item circled. The mount is self contained like a shock absorber. The mount can start to fail and leak. Check around the mount for internal leakage.

If a bad mount and handy with tools, its an easy DIY repair.

Thank you for the info. So that is the hydraulic mount and the leak is definitely coming from that. I do have the tools to fix it so I will go that route.
