sucks to be me im throwing a egr insufficient flow code ... and before that my vsv was done and had to replace that now im still battling this one ...

-i did the vacuum test and the engine died out
-took off the erg and cleaned it out
-sprayed throttle body intake cleaner ...

i dont really know what else to try but to replace the egr itself ... is that my only option and are there any sites that might be cheaper than $175 or is just the going price?

any help is appeciated thanks ...

 

Did you clean the pipe going to the EGR?

What engine type?

 

ya i cleaned the pipe going down and the erg itself ... its the 4 cylinder

 

Did you check the modulator?

 

that vaccum test where i pump air and if it works engine dies out??? if its that i stated above ... i dont really know how to test it thas y im asking what can i do or else do i just replace it ... thanks
