Are there any differences? Can a 07 be put in a 09 without anything else being changed for example ecu.

should fit .plug and drive away

engine size and the transmission designated recognition number has to the same for both vehicles

and yes the replacement tranny ecu must match with the fitted tranny without plug pin in variation

 

So it would not work without the 07 ecu?

And trans is 4T1BE46K7

.auto fitted to 07 and 09 camrys number should be 5 speed U250E

both trannys need the exact same type of electrical plug and pin in connections
