On mine the window "Driver Side" will go down when you push once, but to go up you have to hold it until the window is all the way up.

Anybody heard of a "Mod" that will Auto for both Up and Down?

Auto up is a safety no-no, especially if you have kids.

If the auto-up on your G35 was factory installed then I'll bet it had an auto-reverse (or stop) function if it detected resistance before it fully closed. Similar to the auto-reverse safety on garage door openers. That won't be easy to install aftermarket as it probably incorporates some sort of amp draw detection on the motoror torque feedback (non-engineer guessing).

Actually, I just looked in a 2008 camry brochure and the XLE has the auto up and down, so just go to your toyota dealer and pick up all the parts you need if money is no object.

 

Yep. 08 XLE V6 definitely has auto up/down although only for the drivers window.

 

Yeah, Camry's have that as a standard function for the driver side only. If your doesn't have one then you can have it replaced anytimem its only the switch anyway.
