12 VDC Battery
Hello,
I am a brand new member and am requesting some help.
My elderly parents have a 2023 Camry Hybrid with only about (1,500 miles). This car has had no mechanical issues yet, it is still under the Toyota Care two year program. The weather got colder on night and the following morning the fun has begun.
I took the car to a local battery shop where the battery was tested and the employee said to take to place the 12 volt DC battery on a trickle charge for about 6 hours and then you should be good. He added that the battery doesn't need to replaced just charged The battery is located in the rear of the car. I did place this battery on a trickle charge for about 10 hour on and off for three different time. The voltage of the 12 V DC was reading 14.1 VDC. The car will start without a portable quick charger everytime now, also the dash is showing a warning for the rear camera is disabled. Does anyone know of a factory reset if the car needed a jump start.
Could anyone please tell me if this is a known problem or if there is a factory reset for this battery issue.
Thank you

It may be worth consulting a Toyota dealership for a proper diagnosis while the vehicle is still under the Toyota Care two-year program. Their specialized tools and expertise can help identify the root cause of the problem.
