i was taking my kids to school this morning, and my car starting skipping really bad, it never cut off, but at the stops i would put the car in neutral and keep my foot on the gas. their is no check engine light coming on or anything like that, everything else seems to be working ok. the car has 188,000 miles on it. i had the water pump replaced about 6 mths. ago.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
