For some reason, probably age, my exterior drivers side door handle came apart in my hand as I opened the door. I have a pretty good feel for how to replace it. My biggest question is, does anyone have any good tips on where to purchase a replacement. It'd be nice to get a new replacement that matched the existing paint (Salsa Red). I could be dreaming, maybe all new replacements come in black?? I'd like to avoid junk yards just because those door handles are all the same age and probably will do the same thing mine did before too long. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you all.

Ugh...I'm one that just likes to get things done and move on. Since I hadn't heard from anyone yet I just called my local dealer. They do offer them specific to the original paint color. Mine was $140. I'll let you know if I have any problems with the paint matching the car....I assuming I won't.....darn plastic handles.

 

best thing to do, call your dealer up I know they can come up of a perfect match for that.
