Question 2001 camry kicks after not starting for days

Problem only happens after not starting for several days. After a few minutes of riding camry starts kicking and may stop.. After about 20-30 minutes problem will go away. Wont happen again unless i dont start it again for several days -- at least 3 days or 4 days... It like not getting gas. It will happen no matter what the speed. Any ideas on this?????

Might be the IAC valve needs cleaning, maybe sticky.

Fuel pressure regulator, pressure bleeds off when the car is parked and slow to build up.

Ive been gone a week or so ---- Question -- Is it better to take the 2001 Camry to a Toyota dealer or a locar car repair place to have done what you suggest? Thanks in advance.... Allan

The Toyota dealer should be better equipped and trained to diagnose the problem as it is their product.

Parts and labor costs are typically higher at the dealer.

Guessing it is a fuel system issue.
