Hi, my friend dropped a metal object similar to the size of half a bracelet accidentally into the emergency brake opening. It isn't valuable or anything but I'm just wondering if leaving it there could cause any problems with the car whatsoever. If not then I won't bother getting it out.

 

The only issue is if some how it got into the E-Brake handle mechanical mechanisum. You would know this when you pulled up on the lever and perhaps felt something binding.

You might look down the opening with a flashlight and find where the item landed. Move the E-brake handle a few times to watch the items interaction, if benign just leave the item alone.
