Hi, I own a 2005 camry base model with a manual transmission. When I'm driving and see a red light I automatically put it into neutral. But when I put it into neutral my RPM's drop to about 800 and then pick back up to 900. Is this normal?

BTW, the only mods I have is Weapon R Intake, KYB Struts, Eibach springs and a cat back exhaust and the rest is visual.

Might ask at the Toyotanation website, more members some may have the manual trans.

 

I don't know if it's normal, but it sure doesn't sound like a problem that I'd worry about.
