My 2005 Camry XLE sunroof does not shut completely level with the roof lately. I have read about some procedures to reset the sunroof "home" position. Does anyone know about this?

This is for an 02 model which is the same generation.

Toyota may have used two different sunroof manufacturers, there could be two different reset procedures.

Procedure 1
-Push and hold switch on the "Tilt Up/Close" side until roof stops moving.
-Continue to hold same switch for 10 seconds until roof is fully closed.
-Continue to hold same switch until roof tilts all the way up and down slightly automatically.
-Confirm one-touch slide open and close and "one-touch tilt up and down" by pushing the switch briefly to the "slide open" and "tilt up" sides.

Procedure 2.
-Press and hold "tilt up" switch until roof tilts all the way up then down slightly.
-Release button and within 5 seconds push and hold "tilt up/close" button. The roof should move to full open then full closed by itself.
-Release button.
-Confirm normal operation by doing the last step listed for procedure 1.
