2007 Camry Hybrid starter battery...
Apologies for a newby question...
Had my starter battery replaced last night at the dealership and now I've lost all menu items on my dash including my radio. The guys couldn't trouble shoot so I have to go back Monday. The mid dash screen keeps asking for the DVD but there's one in there.... Yes, I've taken it in and out. The menu was working fine before the battery replacement and now nothing... Help??

Was this a Toyota dealer?
The console is always powered by the cars battery even when ign switch is off. Disconnecting the battery may cause the console to lose its settings after loss of power. The reset may require installing the setup DVD which the dealer should have. Since the dealer was responsible for this problem, they should reset everything for free!
This can be prevented in the future by having whoever replaces the battery to connect the car to 12v DC when replacing it. This can be done by connecting a trickle charger to the battery cables or perhaps applying 12v to a power outlet socket and having the ign switch in the appropriate position before disconnecting.
The same thing happens with conventional car stereos and the clock when the battery is disconnected. Both lose their settings.

dealership probably had the junior team working late... I'm going back tonight for the "boot disk"...
While I am there are there any firmware updates I should know about?
Thanks a bunch for your response and knowledge.

There were a few service bulletins on issues with Apple device connectivity upgraded to IOS 8.0X, XM radio inoperative until ign key is cycled and no sound from audio.
Dealers typically don't address service bulletins unless there is a complaint.
You might ask the dealer if whatever DVD they use is year(s) specific or one size fits all. As in a single disk includes all fixes, etc. Thought the disk was year(s) specific but don't know.
Also inquire about what to for future battery replaces or repairs requiring the battery to be removed. The car may have came with a disk. Point being if this work had not been done at a Toyota dealer they may want to charge you (and who knows perhaps still do). But they are responsible since they should have known this problem might happen.
