Three weeks ago i had the dealership perform maintenance on my vehicle. They flushed and replaced transmission fluid, replaced the battery, scrubbed the throttle, installed new tires and changed the oil. Also did a full check.

Yesterday my engine shroud fell off while driving, causing serious damage to the bumper. They claim they never removed the bottom engine shroud and would never need to do this for these services. Is this correct?

I suspect they are trying to claim they werent responsible.

 

Run down of all services

• replaced battery
• Flushed transmission fluid
• Replaced oil
• Rotated tires
• Installed new front tires
• Adjusted alignment
• Scrubbed throttle

 

Is this a two part (passenger/drivers side) shield? If so which side came off?
