2016 Camry SE without smart key.

My remote suddenly stopped working, I Had just popped the trunk with the remote, but when I went to unlock the car nothing.
I used a mini VCI cable, with tech stream to program it myself, and it has worked for 6 months till now.

Techstream's key fob diagnosis mode shows the remote and car are registered. I have also tried reprogramming the key, but i can't erase it since it's my only remote.

my power locks work, and the trunk release works as well.

I've replaced, the battery, and ordered another remote, to see if it is just a busted remote, but are there other things i can check? maybe a fuse or something stuck that stops some of the functions from working.
