2021 XSE Audio Upgrade
Hello, sorry for the lengthy post but wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.
I have a 2021 XSE non JBL w/9" touch screen. Absolutely love the car! The only issue I had was the way the stock radio sounded. So I replaced the fronts and rear doors with Alpine Type R speakers. Added (2) Alpine Type 10" subs in an sealed box in the trunk. I have (2) Alpine Type R Amps being integrated into the stock head unit via an Audio Control LCQ1.
For some reason the sub sounds like mud. They are working but it seems like everything from 200hz on down has been filtered out. I don't get that "air moving" low end that you feel.
I'm going to give Audio Control a call today to see if there is anything they can recommend.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I spoke to someone @Audio Control. They informed me that the front speakers are full range and rear doors have HPF (High Pass Filter @200hz. Front and rear inputs need to swapped. LCQ1 automatically will take those low frequency (from fronts) and and push them through the Sub out put. Nothing needs to be plugged in to the Sub input.
Tomorrow I'm going to do some rewiring and see what happens.
