'88 Camry electrical problem?
Tired of spending money and no results, so here I am asking for anything I might have missed. I don't know much about cars, enough to get around. Here's what's driving me crazy:
Battery is always dead. Now let me tell you what I have ruled out so far. I've bought a brand new battery about 1 week ago. Got new battery terminal connectors. Got a new alternator. Starter I had tested at several locations. It's good. Checked fuses. Ignition switch has been replaced. Battery was still dead.
Like I've said not big on cars even less with electrical stuff, my only guess is I got a bad ground connection? I had a Japanese import motor put in it about 6 weeks ago. Not too sure how to go about checking but I learn quick any help or tips would help much! Obviously I'm not in a position to just pay a professional and to be honest I think I rather learn for myself. thanks!

Most likely some item is drawing excise power from the battery when the engine is off.
To start, once done driving for the day disconnect the negative battery terminal as this should prevent it from draining over night.
Borrow or buy an amp meter. Harbor Freight and other outlets have them for under $10.
Then do an internet search on parasitic battery drain and read the various links on how to find the problem. This is a common issue.
Post back with the results of your testing.
