'88 ignition cylinder
My camry has been parked for about a year and I lost the key. I was going to pick up a new ignition cylinder and key from autozone tomorrow but I can't figure out how the old one comes out. Any advice?

Typically the ign key cylinder can only be removed by inserting the ign key, turning to ACC and pressing button on the side of the housing the cylinder mounts in.
If the ign key is mounted on the steering column and you don't have a key you may need to saw the bolts off that hold the ign key housing to the column.
Might ask a locksmith for advice?
Before doing this, call your local Toyota dealer. Ask if they can make a key based on the VIN number.
Or
They may be a number on one of the door locks, typically the drivers. If they can't make a key from the VIN, ask about making one from a number on one of the door locks. Taking the door lock out to check may be easier then taking going the ign key route.

I can take my keys out of the ignition at almost any angle. Even with
the car running
and the ignition to "on" I can pull the key straight out. This started
