Default 89 Camry (what oil to use?)

ok i was looking in the manual and since the temp is up around here and i need an oil change i was thinkin of a 10-40 or even a 20-50 weight extended life for older engines and since i have 275,xxx on the original engine yea 275,xxx and no rebuilds...
i was thinkin 10-40 with a lukas oil stabilizer i have used lukas in many of my engines and it works great with older engines and makes them last.

so what weight oil would you go with this older engine and what do ya think about the additives in the oil,
lukas oil stabilzer or even Engine Restore i have used both with excellent results how bout you???
thanks all for input

I tend to stay away from oil additives unless there is some unusual reason to use them.

Toyota recommended a variety of oil weights but thought 10W-40 was the highest weight for an 89 (weight based on air temp range of course).

Unless the engine is burning oil and given temps in Seattle are typically well under 100 might pick 10W-40. This grade will also work much better in the winter then 20W-50.
