Default 92 camry le stalling

Hello all. This is my first post and I am a new member as of today. My problem is that my 92 camry le has been running crappy lately and sometimes wouldn't even start in the morning. I just replaced the battery as I have only had it a year and I have no idea when it was last replaced. Also for the last few days, (even after the new battery installation) it is stalling out even after running for at least 15 min. It seems like if I hit the gas even enough to merge with traffic, it sputters and sometimes stalls. I was told by my mechanic that it has a small oil leak and the valve cover gasket needs to be replaced. Any ideas from any of you mechanically inclined peoples?
Thanks in advance for any and all help or opinions!

I would say your problem is more due to fuel delivery than anything you should try a fuel filter and some fuel system cleaner.

Can't remember if the 92 has a "air flow meter" if it does check the snorkle to the throttle body for cracks or tears. Allso the cold weather plays hell on plug wires(more voltage is required for cold weather), ie... more resisance and or poor jacket insulation.
