93 Camry 3vzfe idle issues
Found the problem I was having with putting the p/s pump back up in the bracket after replacing the right headgasket on my 93 Camry vze eng.
The steel bushing in the bolt hole was protruding out the backside of the bracket causing interference with the ear on the pump when I was trying to push the pump back up into the bracket.
I ended up putting a small bolt in the hole with a washer and nut on the backside and a ring on the front of the bolt that was big enough to go around the bushing. As I tightened the bolt, the washer and nut on the backside of the bracket, pushed the bushing back in the bore until it was flush with the backside of the bracket. The ear on the p/s pump then slid right into the bracket and I was able to push the bolt home through the bracket and the pump with no problem.
FWIW.
