Question 94 Camry will not start unless you jump EFI relay.

I am working on a 94 Camry 2200/ 5 speed manual. It will not start unless I jump the relay with a wire. Have checked and replaced the EFI 15a fuse. Have purchased a used EFI relay, and also a new EFI relay.

Any one have a clue for me? lol

Default About the 7.5 IGN fuse:

All fuses have been double checked. Problem seems to be in getting IGN switched 12v power to the relay to make the relay function. As stated, circumventing the relays function by putting a jump wire in it's place allows the car to start.

We are about to route a switched 12v power source to the relay to activate it when the key is turned on.

Thank you for your input as this is a real brain scratcher.

Ign fuse receives power from the ign switch.

Have you checked the AM 2 fuse? This powers the ign switch.
