95 camry 2.2l will turn over but but want start
hey guy my 95 camry 2.2l. It will turn over and over and over and then sometimes it will start . so i figure it was the fuel pump but before replacing it i check to see if it was firing and it was not at first then after about 15sec of turning key over it started firing. any thoughts on what it could be. i check plugs and wire and all connection all look good

-Check wiring connections for the coil, distributor, igniter, etc.
-Check ign wires resistance 25K ohm max.
-Make sure the coil and igniter are receiving 12V when ign switch is on.
-Check cap and rotor for excess wear, they do wear out from all the arcing.
-Check coil resistance:
Primary cold 0.36–0.55 hot 0.45–0.65 ohm
Secondary cold 9.0–15.4 k hot 11.4–18.1 k
-Check signal coil resistance inside distributor
cold G1 and G–125–200 ohm hot 160–235 ohm
cold G2 and G–125–200 ohm hot 160–235 ohm
Cold N E and G–155–250 ohm hot90–290 ohm
With the distributor electrical plug in the down position and looking from the top of distributor the connections are left to right.
