Default 95 Camry Le V-6 # 3 cylinder misfire again.

Hello,
Recently I repaired a problem with # 3 cyl fuel injector. All seemed fine for
a few months, although there was a bit of a restart problem from time to
time. Today, Misfire after a restart.
1. When disconnecting the electrical connector to # 3 cyl ( No change in
misfire ) which leads me to believe it's obviously that cyl again.
2. The injector rattles with inspection using stethescope. With or without
the electrical connector connected to it.
3. Switched the coil with # 1 cyl, no change. all else seems fine.

4. I don't have a noid light, any suggestions next. Emmisions seem quite
high coming from exhaust where I can hear the miss as well.

5. Another big question here. Driving it to work tomorrow AM, Is this going
to do serious harm until I can get into this deeper. Idle is worse than higher rpm's which I know is quite obvious and common.

6. I didn't think the injector would rattle when the electrical connector
was removed. ( Is this common )...I'm trying to rule out the injector but
feel this rebuilt injector may be the issue here.

Thanks for reading...

Auto parts shops should sell a noid light.

You checked the coil resistance, 13.8 ohms at 68F.

I don't think rattling when not connected is normal. If the other injectors don't rattle when disconnected would look at the injector.

For parts try Rockauto.

Bob Bridge Toyota sells Toyota OEM parts at steep discounts.

Hello All,
Replaced the injector, the previously replaced injector had 3 days left of warranty
thankfully. The car now runs fine.
Thanks for the advice and the time taken to read & reply ....
