How did you come to determine No 2 cylinder was the problem? Is the check light on and are there any codes stored? If not are there any pending codes stored?

Is the condition of the plug electrode different from the others?

By itself 150 psi is OK. You need to check all cylinders and compare. If all are around 150 psi then this is normal. If one or more are lower then others by a significant amount there is problem.

If you can't access the rear cylinder easily check the front ones and compare. If the about same then would not be concerned.

i had the check engine light on and took it to autozone code was p0302

there was another code p0300 but there was a vaccum leak got that solved erased codes and was left with p0302 and when i idle at light with vehicle check engine light starts blinking but when i start going it stops blinking and just stays on

No 2 cylinder is the one on the far passenger side and closest to the radiator, is this the cylinder you are working on?

How does the No 2 spark plug electrode look when compared the No 4 and 6?

Does the engine have 3 ign coils, each firing 2 cylinders or what?

Did you changed the No 2 coil and spark plug wires?

I can also be the injector. Stuck, slow operating, clogged, etc. Check injector resistance 13.4-14.2 ohms. Use a section of rubber hose as a stethoscope to listen to injector sound and compare to another cylinder injector. Can also hold a small wood stick against injector and feel for operation and compare.

Check for leaks in intake and exhaust system.

Other things that can cause these codes are the EGR system and MAF sensor.

i had moved fuel injector from cylinder 2 to 4 reset the code and p0302 still came up
i did coil, spark plugs and wires
yes that is the cylinder i am working on on the passenger side and near radiator
wen i took out the spark plugs from 2 and 4 they both looked the same a lil carbon on them that was basically it
and would EGR system and MAF sensor still give a misfire in only cylinder 2

Is the adjacent cylinder pressure about the same as No 2 thus not head gasket issues?

Does the engine run OK. If not for the check light blinking/on would still you think there was a problem with the engines operation?

The check light blinking means the engine is misfiring or computer thinks it is misfiring at this time. A steady check light means code is stored.

When the check light is blinking at idle, does the engine idle normally or misfire?

yes cylinder pressure is the same with next cylinder

engine runs great i just need check engine light off to pass smog i live in NV

when light is blinking it does misfire when sitting idle like at a light

So, the engine otherwise runs great. But at idle it can start to misfire and the check light come on?

Might change all coil packs and plug wires.

If engine ran great all the time including idle might suggest a back computer.

Yes engine runs good but not able to pass smog with stupid check engine light on

I already changed plugs, wires, and all ignition coils

So, when at idle the check light will come on and the engine actually starts misfiring? And as such there is actually something wrong with the engine at idle and the computer is not malfunctioning and sending a false code?

Below is the complete list of possible issues from Toyota.
Ignition system -You replaced the coils

Injector -You swapped the injector. If misfiring at idle you could check injector operation it idle and compare to the ones next to it using a Noid light or listen with a section of hose.

Fuel line pressure

EGR -Make sure teh EGR system is off at idle. The computer uses a switch to turn off vacuum to the system.

Compression pressure -Seems OK

Valve clearance not to specification -Would be strange if off but never know.

Valve timing -Unless belt has skipped a tooth or a tooth has been chipped.

Mass air flow meter -Can clean with MAF cleaner.

Engine coolant temp sensor -Does misfire happen when is engine hot, cold or both?

Open or short in engine wire -check wiring.
Connector connection

ECM - Engine runs OK at idle and other times computer can fail and give false code.
