Default 98 Camry - Door Panel Separation at Window Switch Panel

I have a 1998 Camry LE that I am trying to get back into "new" condition. One thing that keeps making me mad is the separation of the door panel at the power window switch panel. Basically, the vinyll panel has pulled away a bit at the inner edge of the plastic switch panel. I can find a picture if needed.

I have looked on a number of same vintage Camrys and seen the exact same thing. Does anyone know a good way to fix this? I figured I could hot glue it back in but that does not seem to be holding it. Maybe some thicker super glue?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My '98 is in the same condition on both driver andpassenger sides.

Yes, me too. I looked at about 8 different Camrys from '97 to '99 model years and all but one had this separation. Some were a little worse than others.

I really don't know. I haven't had the inclination to fix it yet. However, if I get the urge to fix it, I might try some stuff that I have that's called GOOP. I used it with success on the black "weatherstrips" on each side of the windshieldthat came loose on both the '98 Camry and the '01 Sienna that I have. I'm sure that other Toyo owners know about these two black strips coming loose as a result of the disintegration of the glue over the years of exposure to the heat, especially here in the Southeastern US.

Yeah my 98 is the same way, I always wanted to fix it. My friends in my car notice it all the time when they sit inside. Their first question is " what is wrong with your door panel ?" I've been telling everyone it's a work in progress LOL. Any suggestions how to fix this please reply to me also thank you.
