Question 98' XLE Front Right door Speaker BLOWN!!

I have a 1998 Camry XLE V6 and the right side door speaker is blown. I want to replace both front speakers, but do I also have to replace the rear one too?

The existing tuner is Toyota factory, so I don’t really know what brand it is, or whether it would be compatible to use these speakers with it or not.

These new speakers are 2-way, 6.5”, Coaxial POLK-AUDIO…# DB651- 60 watt RMS, 180W Peak) Regular priced at $100.00 on sale for $49.00 @ Fry’s Electronics. Installation he said would start at $40.00 and up, depending how hard it is to get to each one.

ABOUT:
“The Polk Audio db Series works well in OEM factory systems, as well as with high-powered aftermarket head units and component power amps. The db Series delivers classic Polk Audio performance and durability like never before. The db651 to fit both 6-1/2 inch and 6-3/4 inch applications, ensuring an easy fit in everything from domestics to imports including VWs and Audis, BMWs and other European imports.”

Thank you for any info on these speakers.

You may have a better response at the Toyotanation website in the appropriate year Camry forum or the sites audio forum.

The Crutchfield website has a selection guide. Input your cars info, the site will return with a speaker selection.
