Default any way to tell miles since oil change?

In a 2006 Camry there is a MAINT REQD light that goes on at 4500 miles after the 'engine oil replacement reminder light' was reset.

Is there any way (not mentioned in the owners manual) to tell how many miles I have on the most recent oil change that I did, before 4500 miles comes around? I did not write it down, and am wondering if I should change it early before my daughter takes car away to school (300 miles each way)

thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums.
To answer your question, no.
Some people have their oil changed and the light is not 'on' so it is not reset. So, when it does come on, it is too early. There is also the alternative where the light has come on and the owner does not want to change their oil yet but hates the light and just resets it.
If your oil life is in question, change it and filter and reset the light.
Peace of mind for when you daughter is driving to school is worth it in my opinion.

Patonium I really like your avatar; Is that a pistol you are shooting? Kind of a pro law and order image for the super-moderator.

Haha, yeah that is actually a screen shot from the Sopranos.
I will admit that I am a gun guy and work in that industry as well.
