Are the paddle shifters any good on the Camry? Any delay?

Are the paddle shifters any good on the Camry? Any delay, or are they pretty responsive?

There is no delay.

The system is a gear limiter to set the max gear. The trans will still shift automatically to a lower gear to allow starting out from a stop.
