Default RE: blower motor

I just purchased a 99 Camry LE - 4 banger.. The car had been sitting for a bit of time, the blower didn't work well - vibration and such, crap rattling around. Literally crap, mouse crap.... You may just have a bunch of crap in there, mine was 3/4 full (packed) where mice had lived. Answer to your question, how to get at the motor. Buy a Hanes manual, they are only 15 bucks.

Disconnect the negative battery - incase of setting air bag off, don't worry as long as your carefull you shouldn't have any problems

You have to remove the glove box (fastened on by screws and clips, air bag wires are attached-they are Yellow, careful when unclipping from glove box.
Remove the plastic panels below glove box, you may have to detach some of the wiring clip screws to get at the fan and blower motor (3 screws)
