Default A/C Issue

I am driving a 1999 Camry, V6 automatic, with 140K mils. My car's A/C stopped blowing cold air after 10mins of running. If I leave the car in the parking garage for 1-2Hrs, start the A/C again it will blow cold air for 10mins again, after that it stopps. Thankfully my work place is like 15mins drive so far I am okay. Can someone tell me what is going on please.....

Your evaporator might be icing up. Whenthe system stops cooling do you noticethe air flow also stopping? Letting it sit allows the ice to melt.I would also check that the compressor clutch is engaged when it stops cooling. Lift the hood and see if the compressor pulley is turning. You'll have to look at the end of the pulley as the part the belt goes around always turns.
