Default Carpet Help

Looks like animal damage, tho no sign of any in my car (2014 Camry LE )

Just pulled the Weathertech floormats the car came with to clean them and found this under the drivers side.

I got the car in August of 2021. Do recall removing them for cleaning the following month and no damage was seen.

Can this be patched or do I need the replace the carpet in full?

The internet is your friend.

Search on "repairing car carpet" to find a host of repair kits and ideas.

They make spray type paints for fabric which can help hide the damage but it will always be there unless you replace the whole thing- costly!
I'd put the floor mats back down and keep driving!

Cutting down after burns works perfectly. I have to try a glue on visible seams, great idea!
