Default Center rear light

Hello I own a 2006 Camry. Recently I had the front windshield replaced due to rock hitting windshield. Today on my way into work, I noticed that the center tail light (the one in the rear at the top, not brake lights or rear lights) doesn't seem to turn off. Could this be related to the windshield repair or something else? Is there an easy way to remedy this situation? I am pretty much an idiot when it comes to stuff like this and apologize if this is a stupid questions. Thanks for any replies.

welcome to forums

u say not the rear brake lights or the rear lights, but you say center tail light that is at the rear on the top which would have to be the highmount brake light, right?
Its red and usually turns on when you brake?

The only reason i can think of for it to stay on, even when the car is off and locked is wires have been crossed or there is a relay malfunction. Electronic problems are terrible. You can take it out and follow the wires and see if there are issues. For the time being, you can pull out the bulb (careful hot), or the fuse to deactivate it.

Thanks for the response. That's sort of what I figured, just wondered whether it had anything to do with the front windshield being replaced since it hadn't been a problem up until then. I will see if any further poking around yields results, otherwise, I'll just pull the fuse or bulb for now.
