Default Check Engine Light

My wife's 2004 Camry has the Service Engine Light soon on, and I know it is to remind you of the optional service engine and not cause by a problem. The question is "How do I shot it off?"
I looked for a switch under the dashboard I plugged a small code computer and tried to erase the code this way and it did not work. Anyone knows how to do this?
Thanks
Luis

Toyoboy, you are the man. Thanks, as soon as she gets in, I will try it.
It is just annoying.
Take care
